Word Meaning

tell: communicate information, facts, or news to someone in spoken or written words

list: a number of connected items or names written or printed consecutively, typically one below the other

describe: give an account in words of (someone or something), including all the relevant characteristics, qualities, or events

relate: give an account of (a sequence of events); narrate

locate: discover the exact place or position of

state: the particular condition that someone or something is in at a specific time

name: a word or set of words by which a person, animal, place, or thing is known, addressed, or referred to

write: mark (letters, words, or other symbols) on a surface, typically paper, with a pen, pencil, or similar implement

find: discover or perceive by chance or unexpectedly
